Today's grammar Tip- is related to ARTICLES.

We all know that a,an,the are called Articles.

We use them to make noun either definite or indefinite.

A or An are indefinite articles.

The is definite article.

USE OF A/AN - 

1.we use A/AN before Singular Countable Noun.

Example- Rashi is a singer. 

In above example 'Singer' is singular noun therefore we use 'a' before it. 

2. Some Idiomatic uses of A/An 

Expression expressing number or quantity

A lot of 

A great deal of 

A great many of 

A large amount of 

Other expressions involves--- eat a humble pie, in a hurry, have a drink, have a sleep, have a chat, take a risk,etc.
