Cases-- The relation in which a noun stands to some other word.
4 types of case -
1.Nominative Case or Subjective Case
2.Objective Case
3.Possesive /Genitive Case
4. Vocative Case
Nominative Case--
Nominative Case
The nominative case is the case used for a noun or pronoun which is the subject of a verb
For example
- Neha eats chocolates. (The noun "Neha" is the subject of the verb "eats." "Neha" is in the nominative case. In English, nouns do not change in the different cases. Pronouns, however, do.)
- She eats chocolates. (The pronoun "She" is the subject of the verb "eats." "She" is in the nominative case.)
