'AS' and 'LIKE'
'as' and 'like' are often used interchangeably, however there are certain important differences.
We use 'as' in a format- as+ adjective+as
Example- He is as tall as his brother.
It is not as expensive as the other restaurant.
We use 'like' to make comparison in format-
like+ noun
'like' is followed by noun or a pronoun to show that two things are similar.
Example- She is like a mother to me.
-There are lots of people like us.
